"From Fear to Relief: Hira Maya Moktan's Journey with Accessible Water"

I’m Hira Maya Moktan, 38 years old, and a mother of four: one son and three daughters. My husband is a farmer who occasionally works in town when there’s no work on the farm. My fear of encountering scorpions, snakes, and centipedes on the bushy path to fetch water has been a constant worry. Walking through that path 3-4 times a day is something I fear and wish to avoid. I’m concerned for the safety of my family and kids from potential illness and diseases stemming from the water. It’s also a financial burden to treat these ailments.
However, the arrival of a tap stand in our courtyard has brought immeasurable joy. No longer do I have to make multiple trips to fetch water, and my fears have significantly diminished. The provided hygiene training and water filters have notably enhanced our health, alleviating my worries about waterborne illnesses affecting my family.
I wholeheartedly appreciate and extend my gratitude to the organization for providing us with safe and easily accessible drinking water. This transformation has not only relieved our fears and health concerns but also lightened the financial strain caused by frequent illnesses.
