Improved Livelihood
Welcome to United Vision Nepal’s Improved Livelihoods Project, where we are dedicated to empowering communities through sustainable income generation initiatives. In Nepal, many rural households face challenges in securing stable livelihoods, often relying on traditional farming methods with limited resources. Recognizing this need, UVN has implemented a range of projects aimed at enhancing livelihood opportunities and fostering economic resilience.
Our project focuses on providing comprehensive support to community members, starting with natural vegetable farming training. Through these training sessions, participants learn sustainable farming practices that promote organic vegetable cultivation, ensuring food security and increasing household income. Additionally, we provide input support such as vegetable tunnels, seeds, and farming equipment, empowering farmers to optimize their yields and market their produce effectively.
Furthermore, our project extends to animal husbandry training, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills to engage in modern livestock rearing practices. To support this initiative, UVN offers technical and financial assistance for the construction of modern goat pens and pigsties, enabling community members to enhance their income generation potential.

In addition to agricultural activities, UVN is committed to promoting self-employment and life skills development. Through tailored training programs, we empower individuals to explore entrepreneurial opportunities and acquire essential skills for personal and professional growth. Moreover, we provide financial and technical support for startup ventures, facilitating the establishment of small businesses and promoting economic independence within communities.
By implementing these holistic livelihood initiatives, UVN aims to uplift communities, reduce poverty, and foster sustainable development in Nepal. Join us in our mission to create lasting change and empower individuals to build brighter futures for themselves and their families.
